A bit about us

The Windsor Albion Co-operative first started forming in 1991 when a few tenants concerned with the dilapidated condition of the estate and properties, decided to attend a meeting at the Boardwalk library with the intention of applying for ‘City Challenge’ funding.

Having succeeded in gaining Section 16 funding we then interviewed several Housing Associations (also a first in Salford) who wished to build the new properties on the Windsor estate

Terry Torch Walk

In celebration of the work that Terry Edis did for us and the TMO sector, Louise is going to walk from Windsor Albion Co-ops, Albion Towers to Childwall Valley EMB in Liverpool. It’s over 29 miles. She is doing the walk to raise money for a new charity that will continue the great work of Terry and to push forward the 1000 communities campaign. Read more
