In February Windsor Albion Co-operative took to the challenge to increase it’s recycling and enter an on-line competition “RECYCLE AND REWARD GOOD CAUSES FUNDING” run by Salford City Council.

Please follow this link for more information. RECYCLE AND REWARD GOOD CAUSES FUNDING

We can now confirm the voting for February; the successful schemes were;

Claremont and Weaste – Fluff is the Future NCT Cloth Nappy Library

East Salford – Grow in Broughton

Eccles – Young at Heart

Irlam and Cadishead – Irlam Skate Park

Ordsall and Langworthy – Windsor Albion Co-operative

Swinton and Pendlebury – 1st Swinton Brownies

Walkden and Little Hulton – Fluff is the Future NCT Cloth Nappy Library

Worsley and Boothstown – Fluff is the Future NCT Cloth Nappy Library

Unfortunately the recycling has not shown to have increased in any of the areas across the city, therefore these causes along with the funding will roll over to March voting, the results will be available on the link below for you to review.

Please kindly encourage your neighbours and our community to not only vote for Windsor Albion Co-operative but to increase the amount that they recycle, if you need any information about what can be recycled then please visit this web page at www.salford.gov.uk/recyclemore.htm or see below

Please share this link with as many people as possible to help increase recycling, and remember to tell your neighbours to vote again this month – www.salford.gov.uk/recycleandreward.htm
